Harvest Festival will be celebrated on Sunday 2 October in our all age worship service. All are warmly invited, particularly parents and pupils of St John's School where the school choir will be singing harvest songs. Please bring harvest produce to decorate the church, whihc will be auctioned after the service at the Harest Lunch.
On Tuesday 4 October there will be a short presentation and service followed by a time of discussion about a possible partnership with a church in Kuruman, South Africa. The PCC has been discussing this for some time, and members of the congregation will recall Rev Nick Moloney talkig about this in one of the Sunday services. The views of the congregation will now be sought beofre any commitment is made.
The service for anyone who has either personally lost a baby at any stage of pregnancy, at birth or in early years, or anyone who has been affected by a family members or friends loss. Whether the loss was recent, or 80 years ago everyone is welcome. Babies and children are also invited to come with their family, as the Saying Goodbye service is truly a family event for all.
